Project intro

Sky Patent is a game where your rival has stolen the sky. Draft a flying machine in chalk, fly it over the town and shoot down their fleet. Everything you shoot drops scrap, and the rival's carriers drop the patents for new parts. Back in the workshop, spend them: build and upgrade parts onto the blueprint of your machine, then fly again. There are four parts to draft onto your blueprint — twin guns, a propeller, wings and a sail — each with two level II designs to choose from, like piercing shots or paper darts, a dash or full throttle, a double sail or a mirror sail. What you build decides how the next mission plays. There are three missions — over the town, over the river and over the hills — each ending with a boss: the rival's airship, a river barge and the flagship, with pigeons, cog birds, balloon mines, kite snipers, rival biplanes and eraser drones in the way, and up to three stars a mission. Your guns fire by themselves; dodge the red shots, and remember each part you fit takes one hit — lose them all and you crash. It plays on a phone held sideways: drag anywhere to fly while the guns fire by themselves, tap to build in the workshop, so one thumb is all it needs, and keyboard and mouse still work on a computer. Made for Jamference: AI Game Jam Hack 2, theme Crafting, restriction Playable on Mobile. There are no image files: Claude drew every sprite in code in a blueprint-chalk style, the music and sound effects were composed in code with Claude, and Claude wrote bot pilots that fly the missions on their own, whose runs tuned the scrap economy and the difficulty.
