Penguin Smack is a free browser game with one perfect joke at its core: a furry yeti, a baseball bat, and one very unlucky penguin. Hold to charge the bat and let go as the penguin crosses the ring — PERFECT, GREAT, GOOD or SHANKED decides how hard it flies — then tap to flap its wings in the air before the frozen lake takes over: boost pads, trampolines, exploding barrels, gummy bumpers, wind tunnels, ice ramps, rockets the penguin rides, and a rare cannon. A chain system rewards consecutive good hits with 1% more speed per chain point, while ice walls, snow drifts and sliding drain it. It is an entry for AI Browser Game Jam 5 (theme TORCH): hit an exploding barrel and the penguin gets torched, and in the pitch-dark Polar Night area the penguin carries a torch of its own, with braziers catching fire as you fly past. During the jam (17–31 October) the authors kept adding content — nine more areas dealt in a new order every run, 40 new billboards, 88 new cosmetics, 28 new challenges, a 10-minute flight soundtrack, and a UFO that abducts you for a 400 m ALIEN EXPRESS ride — plus a worldwide leaderboard where big records are replayed with the game's own physics before they go up.
