SweatyPanzer
Twelve tanks, five maps, every tank for itself — a free-for-all arena where each kill is an upgrade.
Project intro
SweatyPanzer is a free-for-all tank battle game in your browser: twelve tanks, five maps, every tank for itself. Arena is an endless free-for-all: drop in, fight every other tank on the map, bots included, and leave whenever you like. A new map arrives every 6 minutes, and you keep your tank, upgrades and kills when it changes. Every kill is an upgrade: each kill earns a card draw to raise an upgrade or swap into another tank, and the kill also repairs you. The more upgrades the victim had, the better the cards. Die and you start over in a Panzer IV, so staying alive is how a build grows. After 10 draws in one life your tank becomes the bounty, marked for everyone, with 4 minutes to survive; survive it and you bank 1,000 XP, while gold smoke marks the tanks leading the kill count. Armour is angled: every plate is raked, so a shell that arrives shallow skips off for a fraction of its damage, turrets and bodies take damage differently, and range bleeds damage off a shell. Prefer teams? Clash is the 4v4 mode: one life per round, first to four rounds, with salvage to spend between rounds. You play with a nickname and no account is needed. Honest requirement from the author: it needs a browser with WebGPU, such as current Chrome or Edge on desktop. An entry for AI Browser Game Jam 5, free in the browser.
