Pumpkin Farmer

Pumpkin Farmer (called Quarter Sun Cove inside the game) is a relaxed pumpkin-growing sim: over a year, you tend one giant pumpkin entered for a contest, grow regular pumpkins on the side, sell them when October's pumpkin season arrives, and finally take the big one to the weigh-off.

Everyone in town is a vegetarian animal: the mayor is a pelican, and you can play as a pelican, skunk, raccoon, opossum, beaver, coyote, fox, owl, otter, or seal — and later they will bring their kids to buy pumpkins at your stall.

Growing pumpkins is more than watering: you have to time your planting so pumpkins ripen exactly on the October weekends with the most visitors, and you will run into mischievous raccoons, an elephant seal running the weigh-off, a seal that rolls pumpkins back into the sea, and the odd pumpkin-growing superstition that turns out to be true.

The author himself warns: the game is still being polished, the gameplay is a bit complicated right now, and he is not fully happy with it yet. It is for players who enjoy relaxed farming and do not mind a work-in-progress feel; if you want a rigorous business sim, it may feel too loose.
