Gridmark
Shape logomarks from a grid of shapes, randomize for ideas, export as SVG or PNG.
Project intro
Gridmark is a free logomark generator that runs entirely in the browser. Shape a mark from a grid of shapes - layouts include grid, honeycomb, triangle tiling, scatter, wave rows, pyramid, bars, radial burst, ring, polygon rings and spiral - using squares, circles, triangles, diamonds, hexagons, stars, pluses, rings, half and quarter circles, or draw your own shape. You can cut the grid to a letter, a word or a simple figure with a mask; vary size, rounding, rotation, color and blur with patterns and gradients; randomize for new ideas, lock the settings you like, and browse a wall of variations. There is a live preview of the mark beside your name plus a reveal animation, SVG or PNG export with optional transparency, device-local presets, and shareable design links. No account, no install, no watermarks, and your designs stay on your device. Author Matt (mattems) posted it on Hacker News on October 17, 2026: "I built this (with claude) as i needed a logo for a project im working on but really did not want to use AI to make the logo." A small tool with a sharp boundary - human-designed logomarks, AI-assisted tooling - and a genuinely useful one for indie makers shipping their next project.
