Check irregular guitar tunings: customize every string, pick a scale, and see the notes light up on the fretboard.
A small, sharp tool for guitarists who live outside standard tuning. Guitar Tuning Tool lets you pick a tuning (or customize every string yourself), choose a scale, and watch the matching notes light up on a 12-fret fingerboard — with sharps/flats notation toggle and left/right-hand view. It opens instantly and asks nothing of you.
Author @kngwyu posted it on Bluesky (2026-09-23): "Vibe-coded a web app for checking irregular guitar tunings" — built for his own practice sessions, then shared for free. He adds, in the same post, that the build was his way of putting his ChatGPT tokens to good use.
Created 2026-09-21, it does exactly one job and does it well — the kind of personal utility that vibe coding was made for.
