RuleDost
Hackathon fine print, decoded: the real deadline in your timezone, eligibility, and a submission checklist.
Project intro
Hackathon rules pages bury the deadline in another timezone, hide eligibility in a paragraph of legalese, and scatter the submission requirements across three pages. RuleDost is a decoder: paste any rules page and it computes the true deadline on your clock (DST-aware, with a countdown and an .ics reminder), reads the eligibility criteria against the original text, and generates a checkable submission checklist — with every answer quoting its source as a receipt. It runs entirely in your browser: no uploads, no accounts, no AI runtime calls. The parsing is deterministic, which is the deliberate design choice — it won't hallucinate requirements. Built from an empty folder for Devpost's "Build With AI: Basics" hackathon. The author's own description: "Built for Build With AI: Basics (Devpost), starting from an empty folder with the Devpost Learn skill pack and Claude Code."
