Tiny London
A giant AI-built pixel map of London — dataset, model training and viewer composed mostly by Opus. Explore the Thames in pixels.
Project intro
Tiny London is a giant pixel map of London in the style of pixelated.nyc — an explorable pixel-art cityscape spanning the Thames, the London Eye, Waterloo station, and Westminster, rendered block by block in loving detail. Author ktoyame posted it to Hacker News on 20 October 2026 as "Show HN: A giant pixel map of London", with the build credit stated plainly in the post: "Most of the work (dataset collection, training & inference runs, viewer composition and even a technical writeup!) done by opus." Pan across the city and zoom into neighborhoods; the map doubles as a love letter to London's geography, from riverside landmarks to the dense street fabric around Charing Cross. It runs entirely in the browser at tiny.london — no account, no install.
