A Mihon manga-reader fork tuned for foldables — realistic finger-following page curl, rendered in real time.
Foldchiyomi is an unofficial fork of the Mihon manga reader, tuned for foldable phones and tablets: unfold your phone and you get a two-page spread; fold it and the cover screen goes back to a single page. The signature feature is the page curl — not a canned animation, but a page that rolls over under your finger in real time: pull from a corner and it folds diagonally, you see the back of the sheet, real shadows fall on the page beneath. It runs entirely on the GPU (WebGPU via Dawn) at your screen's full refresh rate. Double-tap a speech bubble and ArtCNN, a small on-device neural network for line art, lifts it off the page enlarged, Google-Play-Books style. Author GarrettKK writes in the README: "This fork was vibe-coded: the page curl and the packaging were written together with an AI coding assistant (Claude), then tested by hand on real devices." Signed APKs are published via GitHub Actions releases; 12 stars and counting.
