Project intro

Short-form video editors know the drill: every cut wants a kinetic title, a comment CTA, a keyword popup — and hand-building each one in an editor is slow. Claude Video Effects is a library of 30 one-call motion graphics for vertical (9:16) talking-head video: one JavaScript function per effect, dropped at the exact second you say the word (FX.kineticHook(tl, 0.3, { lines: ["STOP", "EDITING"] })). Everything is plain HTML + CSS + GSAP running on Hyperframes, so every effect is seekable, deterministic, and editable by asking Claude to tweak it — no black-box renderer, no proprietary format. It ships with its own sound design (each effect drops a UI cue from 14 CC0 interface sounds, mixed into one SFX bed by an included tool), a scrub tool that screenshots effects at any timestamp without a full render, and an optional macOS face-tracking mode so text can lock to the speaker's head. Re-skinning the whole set is one prompt: ask Claude Code to "re-skin fx.js and fx.css to these colors." The showcase grid the author published says it all: "Claude made ALL of these effects." The README is equally direct — the library was "built with Claude Code on Hyperframes." For creators who live in Reels and Shorts, it's a credible open-source alternative to the motion-template marketplaces.
