Scratch Project Feedback Speed Dating
No paper slips for classroom peer review: four rounds of rotating partners — show, play, name one strength and one suggestion, and switch when the bell rings.
Project intro
Scratch Feedback Speed Dating is a small in-person peer-review tool for the classroom: students pair up and rotate partners, one shows their Scratch project while the other plays it on the spot, then quietly names one favorite part and one suggestion for improvement.
It runs four rounds, with a new partner each round; all the pairings are shown at once, a bell rings when the countdown ends, and if the class has an odd number of students, a 'guest partner' is added automatically, so the teacher does not have to pair anyone up by hand.
The whole tool is a single web page: no account signup, no installation, and no data leaves the browser — a teacher just opens the link and uses it in class. In the published version, student names have been swapped for generic placeholders.
To be clear: it was built for one 'Halloween Scratch story' classroom activity, not as a general homework-grading system, so outside that setting the rounds and rules may not fit.
