KitCut

KitCut is an online studio that turns a single sentence into a complete animated short: you type in an idea, and it draws the visuals, adds narration and music, and hands you a finished video you can publish, whether it is a product intro, a lesson, or a daily short.

The approach is down-to-earth: Claude first writes the film as code, marking every shot, subtitle, and music cue; then a headless browser renders it frame by frame, and the audio is mixed into an MP4. The whole studio runs on a second-hand gaming PC the author picked up used: the same 8-minute film takes over 17 minutes to render on a cloud server, but only 3 minutes 49 seconds on this machine.

As of the author's October 26, 2026 article, this home studio has delivered 258 films, about 6.4 hours of content. There is also something for tinkerers: you can plug kitcut.ai/mcp into Claude, ChatGPT, or your own agent and let the agent make films for you.

One honest caveat: this is, after all, a computer sitting at someone's home doing the work. The author says it plainly: there is no one-click restart, a power cut or network outage needs a human to fix, and uploads go through a single borrowed cable served through Cloudflare Tunnel.
