SlopGrid
Create your own one-shot AI model benchmarks - no code needed, mobile-first.
Project intro
SlopGrid is an app for arranging one-shot LLM visual benchmarks without writing any code. Pick an output type - Markdown, image, SVG, static website, or chat completion - type a prompt, and the site turns it into a shareable benchmark card you can send to any model. The app supports text and image outputs plus SVG and whole static websites (where the benchmarks get most interesting, since models must produce working code), and it can alter chat history for the chat-completion API, which is handy for model red-teaming. A public grids gallery shows what others have created, from programmatically generated Liszt-style audio in the browser to ASCII art of an elephant smoking a pipe. The author, klntsky, launched it on Hacker News on October 16, 2026, writing: "This is something I've been playing with for the last couple days - an app I vibecoded to arrange oneshot LLM visual benchmarks without the need to write any code. I do it from my phone so the excellence of mobile UI is high in the priority list." It is inspired by Simon Willison's benchmark writeups, so you can recreate those evaluations in one go. A neat pocket tool for anyone who wants to build intuition about what today's models are actually good at.
