Peggle Enhanced

The iOS Peggle, decompiled and ported to MonoGame: four adventures in one install, playable on phones, tablets, and computers — 21 stars.

Peggle Enhanced is an enhanced port of the iOS version of Peggle, decompiled and rebuilt in C# on MonoGame by aidrum and TheAwesomeBlue. It runs on phones, tablets, Windows, macOS, and Linux, has 21 stars on GitHub, and was still being updated on November 3, 2026, with the latest release at 1.1.1. The motivation is practical: the original Peggle Android version either won't install or has broken sound on newer phones, and the authors wanted this old favorite to play properly on modern devices. One install holds four adventures: the original Peggle, plus Peggle Nights, Peggle Extreme, and Peggle WoW — the animations and levels from those PC versions brought over too. There are two builds: Peggle HD is the iPad's 4:3 version, suited to tablets and computers; the regular build is the iPhone's widescreen version with ultrawide support, suited to phones. The two are separate apps and can be installed side by side. The authors stress that this is a fully native port with no emulator inside. AI only wrote the game code here: the iOS Objective-C code was decompiled with Ghidra, then migrated to C# and fixed up from there. The graphics, icons, and music were all made by hand — even the README was written by hand. The authors also report on testing: they've played through it properly, and every level should be completable; if you hit a bug, you can report it in the repo. A few things to know first: this is a decompiled port, not an official remake. The authors themselves suggest playing the original on a computer; this version is mainly tuned for phones and tablets. The iOS build ships as an unsigned ipa, so you'll need a sideloading tool like AltStore or SideStore to install it. And a few small quirks carried over from the original iOS version are kept as-is on purpose — the authors say those aren't bugs.
