Digital Human Koubo

One photo and one sentence, and your AI assistant makes a talking-head video with a digital human, subtitles, and creator-style packaging — 1,851 stars.

Hand it one photo and one sentence, and your AI assistant can automatically produce a talking-head video with a digital human, synced lip movements, subtitles, and creator-style packaging. To be clear up front: this isn't a standalone app you download and run — it's a skill pack (Agent Skill) for AI coding assistants like Claude Code, and it only works once installed into an assistant. Its author, Berryxia, has earned 1,851 stars on GitHub; v1.0.0 came out on October 26, 2026, with updates still landing on October 31. The assistant runs the whole flow for you: first it turns the person in the photo into a dedicated digital host, with their look, outfit, and voice description stored in persona.json, so every video features the same person; then it generates lip-synced speaking clips script by script, checks them by listening back with Whisper and inspecting frames one by one, and mixes the audio so it sounds like a single take. Editing runs on Remotion 4, with 5 editing styles and 48 packaging components broken down frame by frame from top creators' videos — intros, subtitle animations, price animations, and effects like big text standing behind the host are all included, in Chinese, English, Japanese, Korean, and more. The README has a vivid example: a 27-second livestream shopping ad, made from a single-sentence brief — the face, voice, studio, subtitles, and price animation were all AI-made, for a total of 482 Renoise credits. Keep in mind that generating video costs Renoise credits: before starting, the assistant quotes the number of segments, seconds, credits, and your balance, and only starts once you say yes; it renders the first segment for you to check, then batches the rest. There are some requirements up front: you need to know your way around an assistant like Claude Code that can install skills, connect to MCP, and run commands on your machine, plus ffmpeg, Python, and Node installed. Remotion's free plan only covers individuals and teams of up to three people; bigger companies need a separate license. And the faces and voices you generate must be your own or ones you have clear permission to use; every video is labeled as an AI digital human.
