Pocket Arcade
A phone game collection that works offline, with no ads: move cars out of a jam, land on the Moon, pour water, learn Morse code — install once, play anywhere.
Pocket Arcade is a collection of small games for phones and tablets that runs in the browser — no app download, no sign-up. It now holds 14 games: Car Jam for moving cars out of a jam, Tap Maze for arrow puzzles, the classic Breakout, Lunar Lander for flying a spaceship to the Moon, plus pouring water, tangram, elevator dispatch, learning Morse code, and Benji's Town for kids — all casual games you can start in seconds. Its biggest feature is offline play: after opening the site the first time, add it to your phone's home screen and the whole collection lives on your device. After that, even with Wi-Fi off or airplane mode on, the games still play, and progress stays on your device. No ads, no accounts, no pop-ups interrupting you, and no monthly fee. These games aren't random levels: each puzzle level is generated on your device from its level number, a little harder than the last, and every level is checked by a solver to make sure it's beatable, with a minimum-move score calculated for you. Lunar landing missions are also test-flown by an autopilot during generation, to make sure they can actually land. One thing to note: this is a web app, so the first visit and update checks still need internet; Jigsaw uses your own photos, which stay on your device and are never uploaded. The collection keeps growing: the author's October 19 post listed 9 games, and the repo README now lists 14.
