Project intro

BrickTrack is a purchase ledger for mancave, a small LEGO reselling shop. It answers three simple questions: what stock came in, what it cost, and whose money it was. The author says so right at the top of the README: the whole app is entirely vibe-coded. The repo was created on November 6, with 5 commits that same day, and purchase tracking with edit and delete already works.

What it does today is practical: every purchase gets an auto-generated ID and is assigned to Jonas, Fred, or both of them, stored in a Cloudflare D1 database, with stats on the dashboard. It is light to run — install the Node.js dependencies, run a migration, open localhost:8787, and the database lives locally; no cloud deployment required.

The stack is simple on both ends: HTML, CSS and plain JavaScript on the front, Cloudflare Workers on the back, Cloudflare D1 (SQLite) for data. It is easy to change and to deploy yourself, the codebase is small, and a little shop can maintain it on its own.

Be clear about one thing, though: it is still half-finished. Selling, inventory, profit calculation and charts are all listed as coming soon, and the author notes in the README that screenshots are not up yet. The repo has no license and no stars, and it is only a day old — so try it yourself before trusting it with a real business.
