Project intro

Is My App Slop is a health check for vibe-coded work: paste in your site’s link and within minutes you get a score out of 100, telling you whether your site reads like a product someone actually cared about, or like slop stitched together from AI templates.

The score breaks down into six dimensions: does the headline say anything clearly, does the design feel considered, does it look trustworthy, is it smooth to use, does it work on a phone, and do visitors know what you want them to do. Each dimension gets its own score, and at the end you get a prioritized list of what to fix first. It only reads public pages — anything behind a login wall is invisible to it.

The founder is Kathryn Finney, author of “Build the Damn Thing” — the scoring uses the framework from her book. The overall score is free; the full report plus a 35-prompt guide costs $27 once, no subscription, with a refund if you are not happy within 24 hours. The homepage’s live counter shows 266 sites audited so far.

Keep in mind: this is a one-time audit report, not ongoing monitoring. It only judges what your public pages look like — it does not do security reviews or a full accessibility audit. The free tier shows just the total score and your weakest area; the full fix list is paid.
