Headless is a free browser duel where you are a headless horseman and your burning jack-o'-lantern head is your head, your light, and your only ammo. Throw it and you might hit the other rider; miss and you are riding blind in the fog until you ride back to where it landed. Spare jack-o'-lanterns grow in the grass as reloads while your head is out. First to 30 hits wins, with a 10-hit-lead mercy rule you can switch off in Options. The grass hides the real tactics: crows that hunt the other rider around the stones, candles that ring you in a throw-blocking circle, seeds for free rapid spit that never costs your head, gourds that split every throw three ways, bounce throws off the stones, a Harvest Moon mode where you cannot be hit and smash through stones, and Nightmare Gallop at double speed and throw rate. A lit head glows through the fog; lose it and your light shrinks to a small ring until you ride back and put it on. Modes cover one player against the CPU (easy, normal, hard), target practice with no fog, two players on one screen with one gamepad each, a CPU-versus-CPU demo, and a two-minute tutorial.
