项目介绍

TidyBug is a macOS disk cleaner built specifically for developers — the people whose disks fill up with Xcode derived data, Docker layers, node_modules and forgotten build artifacts. It scans 19 locations covering caches, build products and duplicate files, visualizes the whole mess as an interactive sunburst map you can drill into, stages questionable files in a Collector holding area before anything is deleted, and wraps it all in a ⌘K command palette. It is open source and free. The origin story is one of the most extreme vibe-coding claims we have published: "TidyBug was planned, built, notarised, and open-sourced in a single Claude Code session on 13 September 2026." That line comes from the Xeve studio's official blog (30 September 2026), which publishes the actual prompt log from that day's session. The app is a SwiftUI app with Sparkle-based auto-updates, and the notarisation detail matters — Apple notarised a binary that had been planned, written and shipped inside a single AI session. Honest activity note: the GitHub repository (xeveio/tidybug) has not seen a new push in about five weeks, so treat this as a finished 1.0 rather than an actively evolving project. The product itself is live and downloadable — "Download for Mac v1.0.1" — and the studio published a TidyBug feature post as recently as 17 October 2026. For developers drowning in build artifacts, a free, open-source, precisely-scoped cleaner is worth the download.
