项目介绍
SOMA is vibe-coded CAD for makers and tinkerers — "It's vibe coding, but for CAD." Describe or sketch the part you need — a case, a bracket, a mount for your project — check the result, export it, print it. You don't have to know CadQuery, and you don't have to spend hours in a CAD program. SOMA is not an agent of its own. It hands your CLI coding agent (Claude Code, OpenCode, Codex CLI, Gemini CLI, or whatever comes next) a command-line tool — `soma build`, `soma analyze`, `soma render` — plus an AGENTS.md with the rules of the project. You tell the agent what you need; it writes the model as Python code with CadQuery; SOMA builds it and shows the result. Measure it, point at what is wrong, and the agent changes the code. You install and log in to the agents yourself, so your subscription, model choice, and permission settings stay yours. The author's note in the README is explicit: "SOMA itself is vibe coded. Most of the code was written by coding agents (mainly Claude Code) under human direction and review. It has tests, but expect rough edges." It's open source (GPL-3.0), free, and ships installers for Windows, macOS, and Linux (v0.9.0 preview) with Python, CadQuery, Git, and CalculiX included. 191 stars since 10 October, pushed daily.
