Studio 4000

项目介绍

Studio 4000 is a free, open-source digital audio workstation for Windows — and per its own README, verbatim: "Studio 4000 is a vibe-coded DAW, and it is fully free to use." Record, arrange, mix, and even collaborate in real time with someone else, all on your own Windows computer. There is no fee, no account, and the songs you release are yours. Under the hood it runs on serious pro-audio plumbing (author-declared stack): C++, Tracktion Engine, JUCE, Airwindows effects, and VST3 plugin support. It ships a built-in parametric EQ, Airwindows FX, Smart Mix, a step-sequencer-style editor, and per-release Windows installers built by automation — 18 releases and counting, with version 0.6.x iterating fast through October 2026. A vibe-coded DAW is a statement: this is not a to-do app, it's a real-time audio engine with a mixer, an arranger, and plugin hosting — the kind of codebase people assumed AI couldn't hold together. For bedroom producers who want a free, no-account alternative to the usual suspects, the download is one click away. (Note: no explicit license file declared in the repo yet — the README's "fully free" wording is the author's own.)
