Trivista

Trivista is a multiplayer trivia app that lets friends play together in real time or asynchronously, on any topic they can imagine. Quizzes come from two sources: AI-generated questions created on the fly with Perplexity Sonar, and a curated library from OpenTriviaDB — and every quiz gets context-aware images generated with fal.ai Flux, so each game looks different.

Social play is the core: a friends system with invites and private challenges, custom quizzes you can create and share, a local-WiFi Party Mode for friction-free sessions on the same network, and community reporting to keep question quality up. Categories span Science, History, Geography, Sports, Entertainment and more, with varying difficulty levels, and RevenueCat-powered subscriptions unlock unlimited AI quizzes and remove ads.

The author built the whole cross-platform app solo through what he calls spec-driven vibe coding.
