tunr

tunr is an ngrok alternative built for the vibe-coding workflow. One command — or a single MCP call from your agent — turns localhost into a live HTTPS URL, so the app your agent just built is instantly shareable. It also handles scale-to-zero cloud deploys: the agent calls tunr_deploy, Nixpacks auto-detects the stack (Node, Python, Go, Ruby, Rust, PHP, Java), the build streams, and the app goes live. For showing work-in-progress to clients, there are demo-safe flags: --demo makes the tunnel read-only, --freeze keeps it from crashing, and --inject-widget collects feedback. It ships as a single static Go binary with Python (pip install tunr) and Node (npm install @tunr/cli) SDKs, and the relay can be self-hosted with docker-compose.

One honest note on licensing: the CLI is Apache-2.0, but the relay (server) side uses PolyForm Shield — not fully open source. It's a young project (announced October 2026) but already a live product with an official site, docs, and a working free tier.
