microide is a native, low-footprint desktop IDE for Linux that flips the usual AI-editor script. Instead of bolting a chatbot into a side panel, it exposes its entire command palette over an external control channel, so an LLM agent can genuinely drive the editor: open files, set breakpoints, launch and step the debugger, and read program state — then stream the results back as JSONL.
