DriveStream
Road-trip convoy app: the whole group's live positions on one low-poly game-styled map, shared multi-stop routes, fuel logs and CarPlay.
项目介绍
DriveStream is a road-trip companion built for driving in a group. Instead of everyone navigating solo and losing each other at the first gas station, the whole convoy shares one live map: every car's real-time position on a single low-poly, game-styled map, shared multi-stop destinations the group plans together, fuel logs, a push-to-talk walkie-talkie, and CarPlay support so the driver never fumbles with a phone. The map itself is a small design statement — the team moved from MapKit to a hand-crafted low-poly style on Mapbox that looks closer to a game than a navigation app. And the build story is pure vibe coding: the studio's official blog post is literally titled "How we built DriveStream with Claude Code" (20 September 2026), opening with the line "This is how DriveStream was built, from the first prompt to the app in beta today." The first prompt, verbatim from the blog: "I want to create an ios app with swift..." The app is currently in beta for iOS 26 with CarPlay, and the blog has kept shipping features through October 2026 — multi-stop group trip planning (9 October) and driving ranks (16 October). For group drives, rallies, or family caravans, it's the rare travel app where staying together is the whole product.
