Cuenta is a mobile-first inventory and invoicing tool for a wholesale bakery — and not a hypothetical one. It was built for La Condesa Baking Company, the author's wife's operating business: shelf counts at four cafés (deciding what to bake tomorrow), delivery entries, branded invoices with print, PDF download, and email, plus a ledger of who owes what. Access is guarded by a 4-digit+ PIN with lockout, invoices carry price snapshots so they can't be quietly edited later, and voiding a record never truly deletes it. The build story is the vibe-coding headline: from an empty folder to live in about 20 hours across 30 commits, using a Devpost skill pack. The author describes a three-seat setup: "The build had three seats. Claude Code wrote the code. A second Claude chat wrote my prompts and checked the repo between slices. I directed, tested and decided." Real software, for a real bakery, built to survive the morning rush.
