Mine Rogue
Balatro meets minesweeper: a vibe-coded browser roguelike built with Claude Opus 5.5 — twelve rounds, three hearts, bonus cards.
项目介绍
Mine Rogue is a Balatro-inspired minesweeper roguelike for the browser, vibe-coded with Claude Opus 5.5. Twelve rounds of increasing difficulty, three hearts, bonus cards, wild multipliers — and one very bad idea per tile. Author aeonfr shared it on Hacker News on 21 October 2026 with the post title "Mine Rogue. Vibe-coded balatro-inspired minesweeper roguelike game", writing: "I've been vibe-coding a browser game inspired in Balatro... The game was done using Claude Opus 5.5." He also confesses the development arc: an earlier version had a screenshot test suite that took 15 minutes to run, so he "burned the whole project to the ground and started again." Each round you clear a minesweeper board; between rounds you buy bonuses with special powers — like revealing a random safe tile after every 5th successful move. The whole thing wears a lovingly retro 98.css skin, and you can even set a seed for reproducible runs. Built with React and 98.css (both named by the author), it plays free in the browser with no account — music and sound toggles included.
