A self-hosted markdown slide-deck editor in one Rust binary: live reveal.js preview, an MCP endpoint, and an in-app agent with review-mode changesets.

slides is a hosted editor for markdown slide decks with an unusual guarantee: what you see while typing is exactly the reveal.js player your audience opens. One Rust binary renders the markdown server-side (pulldown-cmark for prose, KaTeX for math — so formulas never pop in after the slide appears), and the preview iframe receives positional patches over WebSocket, swapping changed slide bodies in place so the preview never flickers. Rendering a 2,000-line deck takes milliseconds, so every keystroke re-renders everything — no incremental bookkeeping to get wrong. The author verified parity slide-by-slide across 818 existing course slides. The tool-facing design is where it gets interesting. There's a full HTTP API plus a JSON-RPC MCP endpoint, so a Claude Code session on another machine can drive decks programmatically: list decks, replace slides by position, fetch assets, even cut regions out of PDFs into PNGs. Tool edits arrive as *proposals* grouped into changesets that the author accepts or rejects slide-by-slide, with conflicts (two writers touching the same slide) resolved by merging with AI. And the ✦ Ask tab opens a chat with an in-app agent — a headless `claude -p` run whose only tools are the server's own MCP endpoint — so you can say "add three slides after slide 14" and review the result as a diff. The repo description says it all: "Vibecoded Slide-Making App." A PL professor's course tooling, rebuilt as a single binary with agent-native editing, review workflows, and three deploy recipes (TLS-only, basic auth, Authelia) in `deploy/`. Better Naukri is a Chrome extension that does one thing well: it makes Naukri.com — India's biggest job board — less painful to use. The README is refreshingly specific about its origin: "100% vibe coded using Gemini 3.8 Flash." No framework, no build step theatrics — just Manifest V3, vanilla JavaScript and CSS, and a MutationObserver that watches the page and injects improvements as job listings render. The improvements are the kind you only think of after scrolling through hundreds of listings. Parker is a Mac menu-bar editor built for the way people actually work with AI in 2026: long prompts, task lists, quick snippets and throwaway notes that deserve something faster than Notes and lighter than VS Code. Summon it anywhere with a global shortcut, jot, dismiss — it opens in a blink, types with zero lag, and aggressively auto-saves everything. The clever part is the AI loop. Your notes are plain files in a folder you own, so Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or any agent can already read and write them — no plugin, no API key, nothing to integrate. When your agent rewrites a note, the open tab reloads live and marks exactly which lines changed; if you both touched the note, it asks before overwriting. Draft the prompt here, let the agent answer into the same file, and hand it a task list to watch the checkboxes flip. Optional git backup commits every save, so anything an agent wrote can be rolled back. It's deliberately small: a 7 MB download on Tauri, eleven themes, split panes with live Markdown preview, keyboard-first throughout, no accounts, no telemetry, no servers. The iPhone companion is in testing and reads the same folder, so notes and to-dos travel with you. The backstory is on the site, stated plainly: "Not a commercial product — a passion project, vibe-coded for my own use and shared with the world."
